Episode 1

On the café menu this week; Kate Hudson cooks up curry – an authentic Goan vindaloo – that reminds her of mum, Goldie Hawn; Jamie cooks his ultimate Southern fried chicken; Jimmy serves wood-fired Italian pizzas fresh from his DIY flowerpot oven; and the boys set out to get the tonnes of wasted veg, deemed too ugly for supermarkets, back into our shopping baskets.

Episode 2.

On the café menu this week; Hugh Bonneville relives his Far Eastern travels as he treats the café diners to an authentic pad Thai; Jamie goes for the ultimate roast with his Overnight roasted pork shoulder; Jimmy builds an offset smoker to create a real-deal Southern-style barbecue brisket; and the boys cook up a surprising feast with food that would otherwise have gone to waste as they take on the myth of sell-buy dates.

Episode 3.

On the café menu this week; Ellie Goulding relives the junk food of her past, when she gives the “dirty burger” a vegan twist; Jamie cooks an indulgent Japanese Steaming ramen; Jimmy reinvents the humble roast chicken with his DIY rotisserie; and the boys revive the medieval tradition of gleaning to tackle the growing problem of farm waste.

Episode 4.

On the café menu this week; Tinie Tempah cooks a Nigerian street food classic – Suya – a spicy beef kebab; Jamie makes his ultimate Salt & pepper squid; Jimmy serves authentic Italian gelato from a DIY ice cream maker; and the boys discover the best kept secret in egg farming – the delicious small eggs that never reach the shops.

Episode 5.

On the café menu this week; Michael Sheen returns to his roots when he cooks the national dish of Wales, a delicious lamb cawl; Jamie wows the diners with his Winter nights chilli; Jimmy builds a DIY peking duck oven to produce Chinese take-away favourite, crispy duck; and the boys head to the beach to give the fishing industry the nose to tail treatment.

Episode 6.

In the last of the series, the café menu is packed with feasts for the weekend; Paloma Faith relives childhood memories with a delicious Portuguese salt cod dish, bacalhau à Brás; Jamie serves the ultimate Sticky Chinese ribs; Jimmy brews his very own DIY craft beer; and the boys investigate the delicious and nutritious meats that have fallen out of favour.
