Out of the Frying Pan
Follow Alasdair and James - the hapless runners-up in the 2009 series The Restaurant - as they strike out on their own in one of the toughest areas of entertaining: private functions.
They could be catering for a mayoral banquet, a ladies' lunch at Royal Ascot, a celebrity child's party, an Indian wedding or a black-tie dinner.
Each special occasion is a minefield of detail and planning with guests numbering 20 to 300, locations which might range from private homes or high-profile public settings, and with dietary requirements ranging from sugar-free children's party food to kosher fare. It all adds up to a tall order, even for the most experienced.
They may think they are ready, but when it comes to this likable but somewhat disorganised pair, is disaster inevitable?
